Who is Apple Cat?

Apple Cat is the de facto mascot of AmpMod. It resembles the Apple sprite, but with cat ears and eyes.

History

Before Apple Cat, and before AmpMod was released, the Witch sprite was the mascot. This was because AmpMod (then UltiBlocks) was designed to look like witchcraft.

However, to make AmpMod's identity unique, shortly after AmpElectrecuted moved AmpMod to TurboWarp, the Witch sprite was replaced with Apple Cat. Apple Cat's design is inspired by the Scratch Cat's ears and the eyes of TurboWarp's Dango Cat.

Humour

Apple Cat has some jokes in its community circulating around it. One joke by AmpElectrecuted is that Apple Cat is associated with the XCIA (Cross-Chinese Intelligence Agency). Variations of Apple Cat exist, such as Banana Dog, but they are not available in the sprite chooser.
